'Star Wars' Babe Gina Carano Posts Nude Photo On Instagram, Calls 'Bulls--t' On Censorship

Gina Carano, most commonly known as Cara Dune from the live-action Star Wars TV series “The Mandalorian” on Disney Plus.
As the first of its kind, it was both unprecedented to see such a phenomenal adaption of a Star Wars theme to Television series’, and it was awesome to see such a strong female lead who fans actually adored for a change.
(It’s been debated, but many fans think Gina played a better female character than Rey from Star Wars Episodes 7-9.)
This time around the 38-year-old actress is doing more than kicking butt in a galaxy far far away, she’s absolutely destroying on Instagram after posting a nude photo of herself on her social media.
The post received hundreds of thousands of likes, and fans shared how much they loved the update extensively. But it wasn’t to last! Instagram took down the post and Carana has posted several updates in protest.
Thankfully numerous fans re-posted it and the photo is included below. (Just a reminder this is an almost full-frontal nude photo)

Artistic Nudity

Although the photo is arguably not even in the best of clarity or lighting (and there are actually more explicit photos in circulation on Instagram with no problems) the post was taken down as per Instagram guidelines with read:
““We know that there are times when people might want to share nude images that are artistic or creative in nature, but for a variety of reasons, we don’t allow nudity on Instagram.”
It goes without saying that Gina was not cool with this and posted her outrage on all her public profiles.

'Censored For No Reason'

In a statement she shared on Twitter, the “Fast And Furious” actress wrote the following about how ridiculous she views the removal of her post:
“So that’s what it’s like to be censored for no reason. Pic was taken down by Instagram. There’s much more important news today but that was some classic bullshit. The whole post was about freedom of expression. Violating zero rules. Ironic. Feels like I graduated. Thanks Karen”
Some have argued that the post was perfectly suitable on Instagram in light of how many “porn stars” exist on the platform making a lucrative profit off of the platform… and they show a lot more than their stomachs.
